My name is Levi Rinker, a local artist many of you met through
Phoebe’s Art & Soul Gallery in Muncie!
Have you heard of The Walking Man Project yet? It is a great
opportunity for artists to participate in a 4 month exhibition of
public art being displayed this coming summer in Anderson!
I wanted to send you some information about The Walking Man Project
Artist Call to see if you would be interested in joining our efforts
by submitting designs or by directly encouraging some of your
outstanding artist friends to submit proposals.
This is a great opportunity for everyone involved to build their
public art portfolios! We believe it will especially impact how the
local population more willfully embraces the arts…
Imagine the impact of 50 sculptures (painted by you and other local
artists) standing 10′ tall all over town for 4 months! Everyone will
see these and feel empowered by this public art display! Imagine a
2-day art & music festival dedicated towards art appreciation and
education! Walking Man can bring this area together again!
However, quality work is desperately needed. If anyone you know might
be interested please pass this on, or send them my contact information.
