Arts Kaleidoscope

Arts Kaleidoscope: Art, Poems & Video-
Gallery 308's contribution to Muncie's Annual Fall Arts Walk

This event, in collaboration with Ball State University, consists of two, month-long exhibits, Oct. 2 – 31, and an all day Saturday festival, Oct. 4, of poetry readings and short videos. Over thirty East Central Indiana artists have been invited to present a work of new art, and published poets from around Indiana will respond to these works poetically. Two video/animation arts graduates from Ball State University will present short videos inspired by both the artwork and the poems.  In honor of the late Muncie poet, Mildred Trivers, and National Poetry Day, a complementary exhibit will feature works by Trivers and past presentations of the Humpback Barn Festival of Poetry & Art that she organized.

Opening reception, Thursday October 2, 2008, 5 – 9 PM
